Selena Gomez Transplant joke: US actress and singer Selena Gomez has been criticized for making the latest TV show The Good Fight “tasteless jokes” about her kidney transplant.
“I don’t know how to write jokes about organ transplants for television shows but sadly it was obvious,” she wrote.
Last year, Save by the Bell apologized for joking about her 2017 operation.
In February, a Chinese variety show apologized for editing a post-surgery photo of a former Disney star.
“I hope in the next writer’s room when one of these tasteless jokes are presented it’s called out immediately and doesn’t make it on air,” Gomez added.

The latest joke came at her expense in a recent episode of Paramount + Legal Drama, where characters like Necrophilia, Autism, and “Selena Gomez Kidney Transplant” are now discussed for unlimited topics for comedy.
“Respect Selena Gomez” will soon be trending online as fans are once again flocking to her defense. Gomez thanked them on Twitter and Instagram, saying, “They always have my back.”
Four years ago, Gomez underwent a kidney transplant as a result of her battle with autoimmune disorder lupus.
She signed off on her social media posts by encouraging people to sign up as organ donor.
