‘We Love NYC: The Homecoming Concert’: Some of the greatest musical names on Saturday’s We Love NYC: The Homecoming Concert “on the Great Lawn in Iconic Central Park in New York City will perform for 60,000 vaccinated people.
The concert is intended to be a “The Homecoming Concert” after a 17-month challenge marked by the Covid-19 pandemic and “promotes health, safety, and equity” according to a press release for the show.
The event, which airs exclusively on CNN, was co-produced by legendary music executive Clive Davis in coordination with New York and Live Nation City. Coverage begins with a pre-show hosted by Anderson Cooper at 4 p.m. ET, the concert begins at 5 p.m.
Andrea Boselli, Kane Brown, LL Cool J, Earth, Wind & Fire, Jennifer Hudson, Paul Simon, Patti Smith, Bruce Springsteen, Rob Thomas, Carlos Santana, Killers, Julia Michaels and JP Saxe, Barry Manilow, Jon Batiste, Lucky Day, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, Cynthia Erivo, Wycliffe Jean, Journey, Maluma, Polo G, and New York Philharmonic. Some surprising performers also come on stage.

Vaccine proof is required to attend
80% of tickets for the event are distributed free of charge. As Covid-19 cases are on the rise due to the delta variant, attendees aged 12 or older must submit proof of the Covid-19 vaccine. Children who are not yet eligible for vaccination must provide proof of a negative Covid test.
